Program Description

Apprenticeship classes meet in the evenings August-May. Each year students receive a minimum of 160 hours of classroom and lab instruction. Apprentices receive training in: basic electricity and math, blue print reading, motors and generators, safety, electrical fundamentals and theory, and transformers.

Requirements or Restrictions

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid ID
  • GED or high school transcripts
  • Reliable transportation
  • Consent to taking drug tests
  • Pass math exam or complete math course
  • Maintain a 78% or higher
