Seeking credits from the Missouri Department of Education.  Hope to be recognized within the next 12 months, allowing up to 42 credit college hours.

Program Description

Streib Education Center is a four-year electrical apprenticeshp program.  Students will attend a minimum of 144 hours of classroom education per year.  While attending school one night per week, students will be training on-the-job with a licensed electrical contractor during the day.  The Department of Labor requires 8000 hours of on-the-job learning.  Upon successful completion of required classroom and on-the-job hours, students will be registered as a journeymen electrician with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.

Requirements or Restrictions

Must be 18 years of age.  Have a high school diploma or GED.  Hold a valid Missouri Drivers License.  Be physically able to perform the task required of an electrician.  Pass a urinalysis drug test.

Length of Program

Four year of classroom training + 8000 hours of on-the-job learning.
